Looks just like the floor throughout my house that is good ole Brazilian cherry. Love it.

Sisyphus....I don't think it is Brazilian Cherry because someone brought a sample and it didn't work. In the large areas, and with better photography, you can see the range: from blond to almost a reddish, very dark brown. One contractor confirmed that it is Kahrs Jarrah Sydney, but we are still waiting to get a sample. I hope it is something that is readily available as I was told this afternoon that if it is the Jarrah Sydney, from Australia, it takes 12 weeks just to get it in the states. I love the floors too. We happen to get these floors when we had water damage. Didn't come with the original builder. So, we got to choose something we like much more than the original floors.

Sisyphus....it may be Kahrs Brazilian Cherry rather than Sydney. It does look alot like that, but does Brazilian Cherry have very light parts of the wood. I know engineered wood can take a life of its own.

You are running into several roadblocks here. One is that the species has lots of variation in it. So even if another flooring maker has the same species the variations will make it hard to determine if it is a match. The other factor is that this is a prefinished floor with each maker using their own mix of treatments. It would almost be easier to get this flooring unfinished and have your contractor match the stain and finish on site.
