My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Are the horizontal slits on the mailbox covered by slots?

    We appreciate your interest in Modern Mailbox. Horizontal slots are open. Mailbox opens by top opening lid. Side walls and lid overhang protect slots from water intrusion. We have sold hundreds of these and haven't had any complaints about water getting into mailbox. Feel free to contact us for any additional questions.

    How far apart are the holes in the back for mounting? I want to replace my current mailbox and the holes in it are 9 1/2" apart....

    Unfortunately, we are currently out of town and don't have access to exact measurements at this time. I am sure you could easily install mailbox if the width was a bit off from your current setup.
