I never want to underestimate a creative and determined mind but there is an issue you will need to consider... to either "cherish or resolve" if you intend to use this sconce without a shade. The shade covers the socket into which you intend to place the candelabra. -That socket is not decorative... it fact it's "ribbed" because that is how the shade is attached i.e. screwed into place!

If you can get beyond that issue to answer the rest of your questions the sconce is roughly 6" high x 6" wide without the shade.
