I began drying apples with a dehydrator last year. I stored in freezer bags in the freezer. After a few months some got an after taste, off taste. I pretreated with orange juice,,some lemon juice. This year I am not pretreating. Putting dried apples in freezer bags and just storing in dark spot at room temp. How long will they keep? Cool room temps, but I know freezer or Frig would keep longer. Thanks.
