I want to update the exterior of a tudor we just bought

This past winter we bought this great house. We're having a number of the dead/dying trees removed in the front yard, which will really open up the yard and provide more sunlight to the house! I don't love the look of the tudor and feel that there is too much going on with the brick, stone and tudor look....I'd like to paint the brick, tudor siding and lines all the same color....anyone have any before and after pics they could share of something similar? Also....the 'tudor' panels on the bottom floor (right side of the house) were added over brick....not sure why this was done but I think having painted brick and stone there would look better than that siding!

why do you want to paint everything one color? Kind of negates the Tudor look,no?

Your picture is very small and it can't be enlarged, so it's hard to get a good look. Look at some of the Tudor exteriors on here and get some ideas. The white portion of the house could be painted a darker shade. Forest greens and browns are very 'Tudorish'. Search "Tudors" on here and look around.

You can soften the contrast by painting the exterior in muted colors. You could even paint the brick. However, I don't think the house would look good if you painted the timbering and the stucco the same color. You need some contrast, even if it's subtle. Here are some examples.
