We have an older home where the laundry is located partially under the back side of the stairs. The entire "room" is just over 6 feet wide. The dryer is located under an angled ceiling that is the back of the staircase. In the picture, the front of the dryer is almost even with the rear of the washer. If we pull the dryer forward, there is a rather large square void of space behind it. Any ideas how to maximize functional storage and use of this space? HELP! Thanks!
