NEW HOUSE Living room TV help!!!

Okay, so my husband despises the tv over the fireplace idea. We are moving into this home in 3 weeks. AND he will be traveling, so i have to figure this one out. Our television is actually bigger and one of the curved style. I just don't want it crammed into a corner in our beautiful new home. I have no allegiance to any couch , tv or furniture placement yet... and haven't even bought the new couch. Please give any and all advice...

My only idea is the wall where they have the table and two lamps , and using the built in corner as an area for some of the entertainment system...And just flopping the living room around.

PLEASE GIVE DESIGN IDEAS Design DIVAS and GURUS!!

I thought the same wall being that there really isn't another wall from the pictures that would work. Is the wall on the left side of the opening into the room with the sofa big? or another way in to that room where you could close off the wall and put your tv there? This would require construction but may work if you can make a door that is not in the middle of the room and then utilize the space better.

Where exactly does hubby think that large a TV will go, given what we see of available walls?

Can the TV be put on another wall with the couch/chairs facing it rather then a fireplace?

I'm thinking I can mount the tv on the wall where they have a table with the two lamps .
And use the corner built in for entertainment elements . Maybe turn the couch facing the back doors and have a cozy chair on the other side facing the couch ...
