I am not very familiar with signing in with a google account but if the option for continuing with Google id is not there you can try to input the Gmail account information you used to sign up.

it would appear not. I have the same problem. I am not sure how a logging with google translates to actual user name. Nothing seems to work. I will keep on searching. Something designed to save time is actually wasting more time.

ok, if anyone is still there, I have found a way around this.

Login using google on a pc or android

Go to your profile pace where you can view your user name that is being used

You can then go to the password page and enter a new password (you do not need to enter an old password)

Then you can login using the user name and new password from an apple device.

I am not sure if this will prevent future login with google but at least you can access all your stuff consistently.
