What color Appliances for New Kitchen??

Just put in new floors, nice oak hardwood. My walls are all knotty pine. I will be getting new cabinets likely either rustic hickory or possibly rustic alder. Lots of lighting!

I'm currently living with an old white fridge and old white electric range. The sink is a cast iron double bowl Kohler.


New countertops will be granite, not sure about color, black or lighter? I thought black would be quite dramatic. Maybe too much so?


I am also conflicted about color of the new appliances and sink.

Should my new appliances be stainless or black? Should the new sink be stainless or black? If black sink acrylic, quartz or other material.


Thanks for your opinion.

    I don't think you want "dramatic" with knotty pine walls. I'd do soapstone for the counters, and stainless appliances, and sink.
