Kitchen Renovation for a Total Tranformation

We recently transformed our client Elaine's kitchen to modernize, brighten and open up the space. The dark, dated kitchen was replaced with white cabinets, a custom hood, and calacatta marble counter tops. Elaine says her new space has brought her family closer together, and encouraged her kids to be more active in helping out in the kitchen.

Beautiful kitchen renovation! It looks more spacious than before. You did a fantastic job in turning this once dark, gloomy, and outdated kitchen into a much brighter, modern one!

gorgeous new kitchen. At the moment I would even be happy with the old one. Hope the cabinets were donated for someone else to be able to use.

Good change however it is too white. A bit of color would have been nice.

    That is just my opinion.

The subtle use of gold and glass was a great way to keep it from looking too plain. Nice work!

Isamuel71, would you mind telling me the dimensions of your lighting over your peninsula? I'm in the process of picking out lighting and I chose one that I am afraid is too large. Yours look to be larger than most and I think they look beautiful.

Dhaley444 although I did not post a picture on this conversation. I think you are referring to the light over the peninsula with the sink. If so the lights are 15 inch by 7 inch. Just for reference attached is the picture as well

Looks great but just too white for me. With all the natural light coming in I think I would have to have my sunglasses on in the morning.

Isamuel71 thank you so much. Do you mind me asking name of your lighting? So pretty.

It's fantastic; wondering why you didn't do a backsplash?

It is gorgeous but i too wonder why no backsplash? The marble look subway tiles would look beautiful

I like the different sized doors with different window lites, it gives the kitchen added interest. I think the kitchen is beautiful and well designed.

Varied door sizes can be very interesting, but I don't see a pattern or rhythm. "Architecture is frozen music".

Looks wonderful! What did you do with the return vent that was in the wall?
