Ahhh... Very interesting - I do LOVE that style lamp, in fact I just purchased a lamp like that for that space, but it was too big. I ended up moving the lamp to my living room and love it there! See photos attached!

bc- forgive me, I thought the lamp you show in your photo is the one you bought from Arhaus. I just looked at the link you provided. I like that lamp;)

I guess I would not put anything on that wall. Sometimes the wall is just best left alone.

Maybe you should get a table lamp instead of another floor lamp?

I prefer the Pottery Barn lamp to the Arhaus one, because it gives ambient light from the side as well as below.

Thank you Margo! I do like a lamp there for reading and not just looks. I have a small table/stool to one side of the chair, so if I got a table lamp, I could get rid of that to make more room. That space under that opening is not very big as the fireplace is at an angle and takes up floor space.
