I have 13 x 13 ceramic tile in my kitchen and walkway from the kitchen to the master bedroom suite. I want to put new flooring in my living and dining room and instead of carpet was thinking of hardwood. Would hardwood look good butting up to ceramic tile? Do any of you have pictures you could share with me? Thanks! joanne

If you have an open plan, you'd be better off continuing the same flooring throughtout your house - but even if your rooms are separated, the same flooring throughtout will make your home appear more spacious.
