I'm building a new home with an open concept great room/kitchen floor plan that will have cathedral ceilings with beams. I'm not sure which light fixture should be the statement; the chandelier in the center of the room, the pendant lighting above the island, or the light fixture above the dining table. AND do they have to match? (Same material, style, etc.) I'm leaning towards the center chandelier being dramatic with maybe two pendant lights being a little bit "wow" and then the dining light being plain. I would love to have some thoughts and suggestions, please. Thank you
