Sheer panels hung between windows won't do much for your room. Since these pics are mostly like black and white ones, it is difficult to suggest much. Color and style of your room is key to making a wise choice. Can you post some ice taken in the early evening with lights on, and show the entire space and furnishings?

My first impression with the three windows is that each window could have panels on either side, mounted on a decorative rod close to the ceiling and reaching to the floor to give the appearance of height. The windows appear too far apart to do a whole wall of curtains--it is not a basement brick wall you are trying to disguise. :)

The eight skinny windows don't look like the sheer panels would add value. It appears that the sheer would only cover the window, not add additional softness to the sides. It may be more cumbersome to operate the three middle windows with sheers hanging in front of the windows.

Here is a pic of the wall across from the window in the living room. There are French doors leading in. I am going to do a library wall unit at the opposite end in cream. Room is approximately 12by22 feet. I am thinking of changing wall color to mocha (same as foyer). Still looking for chairs, table to replace skirted table and a bench or something to divide reading area from seating area. Would love to add a lot of different fabrics. If the walls are mocha should the drapes be close in color? I wasn't trying to hide the wall, just the three little windows. One day I would love it to be one huge window. My house is a Reno project so have to pick my battles carefully.

I'd move the table so the sofa could be centered with the picture. Try a floor lamp in that corner. This should bump you up where you may get more input.
