Thank you all so much for your ideas. The orange is actually not that bright, its more of a burnt orange. I think the light on the phone caused it to show up brighter than it really is. The color is "serape" from Sherwin Williams. Do you have any suggestions on maybe what kind of decor I should go with Thank you again, I greatly appreciate your thoughts and opinion.

I'd say: Don't use too much deco in a bathroom.

I would lower the piece of artwork you have to the right of the tub....or either put a couple of floating shelves on that wall for towels....OR put a rectangular mirror above that little vanity.
I don't hate the mirrors, but if you want to use 2 mirrors, you may want to move the electrical and add sconces instead of the overhead light fixture. Either that, or get one bigger framed mirror as others have suggested. I don't think I would get a white one though....something in your browns...maybe even a woven natural frame would be nice. Something rattan/wicker/bentwood type material.

dismukes01, a large landscape mirror (advisable to match to cabinets or basin top granite colour) would address most of your decorative needs... other than that, instead of that flowery art work , open shelves would be great for towels as suggested by mpoulsom.. plz don't anything solid or anything red here.. clear glass decor would be best or turquoise etc.. with bath salts in them etc..

oh yeah!!! some window treatments would warm and soften the place up....THAT's the main thing you are missing i bet! :)

even just some fabric roman blinds on the windows....if you don't need the privacy, just pull them up most of the time and it will look like a good detail that you are missing! :)

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR SUCH GREAT ADVICE.!!! :) I am so grateful and such great ideas. Ya'll are the best. :) I love each idea noted and plan to be on the hunt this weekend. I put the flowery print there for the sake of having something and because I wasn't sure of what to do, I did no more. I LOVE the blinds idea. We do not need the privacy but I am like you npoulsom, that may just do it and be the satisfying factor for now.
If ya'll do not mind, can I ask you one more question? I have on order the wooden initials that are the going thing these days. I am not one that likes the monogram stuff but I do like the initials. Some at work gave me suggestions of hanging that over the vanity where the flowery picture is now...? What do ya'll think? AND, you can paint the initials whatever color you want so I was thinking about a chocolate brown or in the brown family.

OH... and one more question, if you do not agree with the initials , I plan to go with the floating shelves. Would you do brown? I could put a few hand towels and a piece or two of the clear glass decor as noted. With the blinds, the shelves or the initials and if I can afford right now, the change in mirrors, I may just have it. :))) I am not one that likes allot of stuff everywhere either so yep, I think this just might do it.

Maybe your cabinets are too dark. Would you consider paint. Would brighten up the space as you can see in the inspiration pic which carries some of the same elements as your bath and most importantly the same wall color or close enough to it.

Hey anne dee, I love the picture and yes, very close to my color. If it was any other time I would say most definitely I would consider paint BUT we have not long built our house and for me to go in and paint the cabinets, my husband would commit me on the spot. :) The cabinets are not as dark as seen in the picture, the camera phone just really did not take well in giving the true colors.....
AND.... honestly the color of the walls came at the last minute. I typically go neutral and bring in my colors through decor but my husband wanted color. He told me if I did not have a color picked out that he was going to pick it out himself. Because I had an instant nightmare, off to Sherwin Williams I went and this is what he got. :) I say all this to say the walls were actually going to be a natural tan color . ANYWAY, sorry to bore you with what should have been a simple answer. :)))) Thank you again for taking the time to post.

I think the cabinets could be a lighter color. They can be painted or done yourself pretty inexpensively. I think the color needs to be toned down for the room. I know you mentioned it did not photograph well however the first think noticed is the walls and they compete with the other elements in the room. I think lightening things up would be nice. I painted my room similar with a granite top and sand colored cabinets and Im always getting asked what color they are. perhaps consider painting your cabinets the light color in your stone top. The bathroom would look bigger if it had one big mirror but it also looks ok with 2 round mirrors.

Hey.... Can you all help me decide on what color I should go with on the Fabric Roman Blinds? I am stuck between a cream color and something in the brown family. I going to take the advice of some above and add those and possible swap out the two mirrors for a long one. I gave thought to painting the cabinets but not going to do that right now so gonna see if this will do the trick. OH, and adding the floating shelves also. If I decide against the long mirror, do ya'll have any suggestions on what I should put between the two mirrors, maybe something tall? Thanks again.

I think by combining all the thoughts, I should come out good. :) I am one that does not like ALLOT of decor anyway so I think these ideas are perfect. I will put an updated picture when I am done.

how about white decals above each your windows.. above the window treatment, if window treatments are light..

some light or lamp would be great near the lone cabinet.. there's no lighting there..
or better still something hanging above the tub..

I would do the floating shelves on the wall in your brown of your cabinets... :)
The initial thing I'm not sure about, but if you like them you can have them on one of the shelves.

Whoever suggested the hanging light fixture over the tub, I really like....if you don't have electrical, you could get one of those hanging outdoor candle chandeliers in a bronze color. They are not that expensive and very pretty. OR the lamp on the lone vanity counter if there is an outlet over there.

you can also make a candle chandelier if you are handy for a great price..just go junk store shopping one day and they usually have old brass chandeliers with the fake candle holders on them (kind of early american in style), that people have gotten rid of....remove all the electrical out of it and spray paint it your bronze color, add ivory or white candles, then hang from a chain from the ceiling. :)

OK... even more great ideas. :) I like the chandelier look. I too was leaning toward the brown in my floating shelves. Anumaura. what kind of decals are you speaking about?

OK gotcha. I was actually thinking about putting my favorite saying over there where the flower picture is but felt it might be too much so may put it in my room. The saying Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass...... I know you can get it in different sizes and the one I found that I liked had the big L and then started the saying... this was before the idea of the floating shelves so I plan to go with the floating shelves now. I think the bathroom has some great things going on, however, there is too much. It is busy. The mirrors are too matchy with the sinks, and the walls are bold. I would suggest softening the wall color and move to a rectangular mirror with a lighter but mellow frame shade. So in essence, you are toning down the mirrors and wall to calm the room a bit. Another thought would to switch the bowls to a rustic copper or a rustic pounded stainless bowl.

Thank you Coastal... I have been pondering the mirrors as I am not a big fan. I am not sure if you read above but the color of the wall came at the last minute somewhat. I was not expecting it to be that bold but I do like it. I think as you said if I can calm it down a little, I will like it even more. I was thinking a cream color shade and actually headed out to purchase but time did not allow. (I have a teen daughter who keeps me busy. :) ) However, I do plan to go this Friday to get the things I know for sure that I am adding. Shades being one of them.
