as a back up oven - great ! but if its the only one ... well, what if you want to microwave peas while you cook a pie in it ??

We have a microwave/ convection oven as a back up. I hardly ever need two ovens, and we don't use the microwave much, so having a combination was the way to go. I think I read all reviews available online *LOL* and bought the best rated product. So far, I am happy with it.

It will definitely be a back up. We were looking for a microwave to put above the range and discovered the microwave/convection oven combinations. It seems like a great idea. But I've never used a convection oven and found mixed reviews online.

Just make sure you are tall enough for this kind of set up - I would never ever suggest an oven of any type where you have to lift something above shoulder height to put things in and out ! It's just too much of a risk .
