Is your garage door currently the same color as your window trim? If not, I'd consider painting it the same color. A nice, rich mahogany would look good on your wood shutters. You can paint your columns with concrete stain or paint colored to match your window trim as well. I agree with folks above who say they just don't blend in with everything else on your lovely home. I think your current side door is fine as is but if you want to replace it with something with glass, I'd keep it simple and just use a divided four lite that mimics your side window to replace it and keep it the same color as your trim work.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the side door in itself. What don't you like about it?

Idk should your house look more Country Manor, or dressed-up? Isn't hubby's door somewhat mahogany? If you altered the color a bit, what if front house columns were the same / and seen against black front door hmm..?

First, I really hope you don't paint the brick no matter how nice it looks. Why turn something that is virtually maintenance free into a costly project every 7 to ten years? Plus, there is nothing unpleasant about present color.

I think you really should focus on the landscaping. You need more toward the front of the yard and need to remove the bush covering the only window.

You can gel stain the garage and side doors. It can look terrible if it's not done well though. There's a half million dollar house down the road from me that did their garage door and it ruins the whole look of the house because it looks like a DIY project gone wrong! Good luck with your project.

Ok, I can see that there looks like brown in the bricks rather than grey... is that true?

You can buy a stained fiberglass door in both a garage and entry door. They're expensive but to me, it's better than a door that looks like a craft project!

I think the focal point should be the walkthrough door... therefore the walkthrough door should be a lighter color than the garage door. Paint the garage door darker to match the fake shutters.

Ok, that's the only one that I see also. I'm suggesting to paint the garage door darker as it is too big a surface to be painted light .. it overtakes everything on that side of the house.

Should be no problem to just get a professional painter to paint it any color that you want. Just need the weather to be warm enough. Is that a pic of you & your daughter that you have on your profile picture?

In the pictures, I can see that the trees don't have any leaves on them. Also, you mentioned power washing and it looks like shrubs were cut back. So the house might look different during the the growing season. With that said, I would recommend adding plants to soften the exterior and create curb appeal. Consider some evergreen shrubbery. And your pool patio would look awesome with container flower planters!
