When shopping for new furniture, I found myself in a shop called Scandanavia, contemporary and very streamline look. I want leather for sofa, etc. mainly because of black lab, thank you

A couple of things come to mind. Paint color is last choice as it should go with the furniture & rug & easier to pick after due to the many choices. Seating 7 in that size room may be a challenge. When looking at furniture look for smaller scale pieces, no puffy backs or arms, because they take up visual space. I think that is the largest TV you can have even with extended wall so look for a TV/media console that is 25% wider than the TV. Even hung on wall it needs something under it for components. Some ideas. You also need larger rug.

Can you seat 7 people now? Do you need to seat that many every day or just on occasion such as for holidays? Adults, teens or small children?
