million shades of white. if you want pure, bright white, don't get any tint added to the can. I use it straight for my trim and ceiling.

if you want some undertones, then pick one that you like.

with the right decor, I guess you could. I'm a color person, so I wouldn't. but if you like that monotone, coastal, white look, then I guess you could. I would have to have lots of wood to off-set all the white.

you have white cabs, white counter and you want white walls? will you be operating on the island???? too sterile looking.

I just went to a Benjamin Moore store so they will assist me in picking out some colors.
She opted against decorators White because my floor is more of a taupe color..

LaurelBernInteriors.com has a whole post about the perfect whites in various areas of the house. Very informative.....personally I love BM Cloud White, which is warm toned, and have used it in four houses for trim and walls.

The LaurelBernInteriors comments on a BM color called Cotton Balls that works well in various areas.

My favorite is Benjamin Moore "White Dove." A creamy off white with minimal undertones.

Did you end up using emser theory brown for your floor? I'm thinking of using them for our home reno but can't decide between the brown or taupe. If it is the theory brown can you post more photos so I can see a sample of the floors in an actual bigger scale? Thanks!

Sw incredible white or bm white winged dove. It will read white but is actually a very light version of your floors. But check how it looks with your cabinets first. Ps I find the SW to be more pure than the BM in terms of undertones.

sw snowbound would also work well with the floors but it is brighter.
