Love this look, would look great in your lovely home

I think the issue may be your table is too light and blends with wall colour too much. I would try to ground the space by adding some darker baskets to the bottom shelf and adding an area rug, something darker as well, and with a pattern. I also notice there doesn't seem to be a light fixture, or it's hung higher than the photo shows. A chandelier that hangs down helps bring the eye down. Don't raise the mirror. Where are you thinking of putting a chair? I wouldn't add more furniture on the console wall. What is on the wall opposite?

I like the photo Marlene posted. The first thing I noticed was the lack of an area rug, but now I also see that the color of the table is too light. Such a beautiful space! It will look amazing. :)

What a gorgeous foyer with so many possibilities :)
We mocked up your entryway a little bit by adding a larger light fixture, darker entry table and adding a vintage Turkish Oushak runner for a pop of color.

This is one of our vintage Oushak runners used in a neutral space. Erica Evensen, the designer (and her client), are not afraid of color.

I guess I should have included that I am not finished yet. I have yet to buy a chandelier or rug as well.

-Marlene I absolutely love the inspiration you posted! Thats exactly the style I like! I really want to keep my mirror so I think the table has to go. The table in the picture looks like RH. But I am going to try and find a cheaper version. If I replace the table for something darker do the lamps stay or go?
