We are about to move into our new house and need to choose a wall color for the living room/dining room. I would say that my "dream style" is farmhouse similar to the kitchen here http://theletteredcottage.net/kitchen/ or eclectic but we are working with a dark brown sectional that always trips me up. It would not be my choice now but it's only four years old, and our kids are young so this sectional is used for a lot of stories, lounging, TV-watching, etc. Our ceilings are very tall and the living room opens up to the stairwell where we would continue the color (or use a shade lighter or darker). I've been looking at Sherwin Williams Rice Grain, Muslin, Comfort Gray, Accessible Beige, Benjamin Moore Edgecomb Gray... This will not be a formal living room but more of the main family room, since the small room off the kitchen won't fit our sectional.

The first pic is our sectional. The second pic is looking into the living room of our new place (not our furniture). I'm having trouble finding living room inspiration pics to work from.

Any ideas?
