We have had quick-step wide plank laminate for approximately 14 years. It is a high end laminate and everyone who has been in our home in that time has assumed it is wood - including several general contractors just recently. It does not sound like the clickety clackety laminate (the original installers marvelled at that lol!). It has held up extremely well, we've replaced 3 planks (we bought 3 extra boxes when we purchased our floor) due to a water leak where there was an inch of water sitting on the floor. It was VERY easy to replace those planks due to quick-step's bulldog tool. We are in the process of replacing it due to a major reno and not being able to match the floor.
