Trying to decide on a new bed

Hi Houzzers! Currently designing my new bedroom and even though these beds are very similar, I can't choose between them. Which one do you like better?

*Only getting the frame and headboard

The first one looks like it some kind of metal bar that I wouldn't want to bang my head on.

I second what Belahn said. Also, I don't much like the look of the metal bars on it. #2 is your best bet.

There's just something about #2, besides the lack of metal bars that appeals, to me at least.
