What type of roof? Composition or steel?

It's going to be a composition roof.

Most suppliers will have sample boards that you can take home and compare to your brick in real light conditions. Once you find the one that works for you a paint color should follow easily. Pick the roof first.

Black/charcoal roof, SW Urban Putty siding (usually has a name like "Country Beige" in siding brands), black shutter, fixtures, details.

Where would you put the two tone siding/lap with the bottom half of the house already brick?

The top front would be the shake siding and wrap around 4 feet on each side. The roof overhang on the front of the house wraps around 4 feet on each side. The rest of the upper portion of the house doesn't have an overhang. Where I would stop the shake and start the lap siding I would have a vertical piece of trim going down.

This is an example of the vinyl shake siding and shingles that I'm considering. I was also thinking about using grey lap siding for the two sides and rear of the house but also considering using all blue or a different shade of blue. All white azek trim around windows, fascia, etc.

I love the darker blue siding color with the brick.

CLC, do you think I should do all blue with white trim? I'm just worried that it's so bold so I was thinking of complimenting it with grey siding as well. Or possibly a beige color!

Charcoal color roof - no question.
Warm grey /putty color siding.
White Fascia, soffits, gutters & downspouts.
Charcoal color ( similar to roof) shutters and front door.
Contemporary and coordinated.
