Help me choose a bathroom light!
Hey All! I need your advice. I'm redoing my bathroom and I am at that point where I'm getting stuck on little silly decisions. The faucets are a combo of matte black (in the shower) and unlacquered brass (sink & tub). The sconces over the vanity are unlacquered brass with black shades (Schoolhouse Electric). But I need a light for over my loo. I have a separate little water closet for the toilet but when the pocket door is open, it is within view of the matte black shower head. So 1 or 2?
1 more closely resembles the sconces in the main part of the bathroom, but I love to mix things up, especially metals.
2 is weathered zinc which is on sale, making it $40 less than 1.

THanks RSZ! That's the way I was leaning but I got caught up in the profile of the other and the fact that it was on sale in the zinc! bath is in the drywall repair stage right now, tiler arrives Tuesday - this is the floor tile and tub faucet and part of the shower fixture and sconce with the black painted shade option

Good point on the gooseneck, though my new tank is rather fabulous. I like this one but it's only 6" in diameter - I don't want it to be lost on the wall:

Thank you all for your help — your suggestions were a huge help and while I love the gooseneck look I hadn't thought about the fact that I was highlighting the toilet tank (thank you so much for pointing that out!) So I ordered this one; I think it's kind of crusty and interesting and picks up on the black like I want it to:
