Please Help! Kitchen Stove Backsplash

We just finished the the back splash installation last week. It looks totally different before and after grouting. We did try water vinegar to remove the haze and most glazed surface are smooth but it still looks the same! Any ideas and suggestions to fix the problem? The contractor told us all we need to do is just seal the tiles and it will look good?!?! Thank you so much!
