We are building a house this summer and I'm looking for flooring options for the back hallway/mudroom area, the powder room and the laundry room. We will use the same pattern/floor for that entire area. There are also 2 full bathrooms upstairs that we need flooring for. We were going to use ceramic tile, and my husband was going to install it, but I really can't stand grout! It gets dirty and looks gross and it's a pain to clean. I've been thinking about some type of laminate, but I'm not sure? The rest of the first floor is all solid hardwood-a very light maple color. Do you have any recommendations or ideas for me, that are budget-friendly ?
