About 4 years ago we remodeled our 1972 kitchen. We had this granite color installed "Madura Gold" because the designer was raving about the way it would coordinate with the cabinets. I was never "Crazy" about the color but it was an upgrade and improvement to the avocado green counter we had. Today I am thinking about a kitchen re-fresh. Maybe changing the countertop and the backsplash.

Question: Keep the existing or change it? If we change what color? What type of material?
