Can this be done without the backsplash?

Does the backsplash come separately so that we could use a different backsplash if we want to?

HI ryan0613. Thanks for your interest in Avanity. The backsplash is included with the Galala beige marble top when you order the Thompson vanity set. They are packaged together. However, you can choose not to use the backsplash as it requires assembly to the countertop. Some customers may opt to use their own tiles for example, or you could also use your own backsplash.
