Porter, thank you the rh chair is close, not sure about the quality though. I love their hardware and just bought sconces for our power room from them, but quality of furniture not so sure. Do you know of any American made companies that offer something close? Would prefer an attached back too.

    Thank you, again

We own a lot of RH... it's hit and miss with them. Our wood bathroom vanities and linen towers are RH and have held up fine as is a lot of our ceiling lighting. They are VERY good about problems and will rectify without many issues to speak of or take it back which I've experienced.

I'll look further. The only other one I did see is slightly different posted above and understand you want attached back :(

They have a ton of fabric to choose from yet no leather :(

I can only find in fabric with attached back. Maybe another will know where to find this.

The only other option which is tufted with attached back in leather.

Churchill chair by universal sells the same chair yet I only see it in fabric as well.

Sorry I could not be of more help! Hoping another here can be! Good luck!

To all who helped, found it from William Sonoma home. Looks the same made in America, now off to have husband sit in one next time he is home

Sorry, Just got home... you found it I take it yet don't see it?... happy you did. The other is RH you asked about earlier with the tufts if all else fails.

    Good luck!

On line color looks darker, but same legs, size and America made. William Sonoma home cost 3,795

Happy u found similar Diane R. Yes, it does appear darker..... I wonder if the 4th color down might look richer even though it is fact more neutral brown if you go this way that is.

Porter, hoping samples are nicer in person. Thank you for all your help

There is a very similar chair at Potter Barn it is called the Brooklyn. I didn't send it to you as it has nail heads and also the arms a a little different. An option if you get the samples and aren't happy with them and don't want to settle due to the price of the chair.

The RH one with tufts is the other option and there is a inexpensive one which probably isn't a good route in antique brown which is a darker brown with no red by Safevieh named Silvia.

Anyway, as I said I hope you find one you are happy with... best to you!

    Porter,

Thank you I hope the William Sonoma one works would like to avoid the PB RH import pieces. If the colors are not there I will just keep looking EA has one that is close, but lacks the scale.

Very nice.... looks extremely comfortable and is still stylish!

That appears to be British made, so look for a retailer who sells British lines.

    Tgb1,

Thank you so very much for the nice comment. It has been a bit of a struggle to pull together still needing a console table behind the sofa I am thinking black with space underneath for a couple navy velvet foot stools. A chair for the front windows am leaning towards a linen with skirt and small table to hold a cup of tea while reading. Then some art for the walls that flank the fireplace. Thinking a vintage map of San Francisco on the left and something else by the piano open to suggestions.
