To the eye it's not noticeable until you put the square next to it.
In order to fix the very small deficiency, the whole thing would have to be redone from framing stage where the mistake was made. I know we all want perfect, but I think if you have to look that closely to see a flaw, it's not something anyone else would ever notice. Just my opinion.

I would say that he did a good job of covering up the error when he was laying tile, and would tend to say that it is good enough to pass but always tell my clients if it bothers you now, it's not going to stop. So if you are bothered by this and look at it every time you walk by it, have him fix it, or you will resent him and it later on.

I would worry about bigger, more important things than this. Sometimes, the cure can also be worse than the disease. Let it go and enjoy your pets! Nice set up. I'm assuming that is a doggie wash station! Lucky you!

I was leaning towards just letting it go too, but needed some reassurance that I wasn't a sucker for doing so! :) I put the first two pictures up just to give that context that indeed you only notice when you're looking right at it. Yup, it'll be a dog shower / utility sink. We're pretty stoked about it! :)

That is a wonderful idea and I wish my son had one for his dog! It is really for the ease of the owner's for sure. Great concept if you ask me!

Put a square gloss white Corian cap on the wall to match the pan and forget it.

I agree that the cure might be worse than the disease.....if the wall or floor is concrete then there could be a bow or dip in the work....same with framing boards; they could be twisted or warped with age and then you have a while new ball of wax.....but if it really bothers you ask for a discount so you can walk away happy.....but it is a beautiful piece of workmanship and your dogs probably won't say anything about it.....enjoy!
