My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Does this block have a name?

I recognize the components, but didn't know if the block had a specific name. This is one of the last quilts made by my maternal grandmother. It was made in the 80's and currently belongs to my mother. I have not yet seen this particular quilt in person, but it is very representative of the type of quilts that were made by my grandmother.

    The center of the block is definitely the Ohio Star. Here is the link to instructions. OhioStarBlock.html I don't know if the block has a different name because of the additional embellishments around it. It probably should.
