New construction home..rural area, just trying to decide on landscaping ideas. you can not see the front of the house because of trees, but when company comes want to let them know we care:) the driveway runs thru on the left of the trees, not sure if we are keeping these trees or not.

The County Extension Office of your state university will have a list of plants that are native to your area. These plants should need little to no water once they are established (usually one growing season). Learn what plants are native to your area, and which ones grow best in sun and in shade.

Go to your local plant nursery (not national chain). The horticulturalist on staff will be able to answer all of your questions.
