what to do about beach house seriously lacking curb appeal?
looking for suggestions to improve the exterior look of this house.

NC costal House · More InfoYou don't even need to paint the actual home , just the porch, stairs, trimings, and remove lattice ....
I would add a fire pit and some chairs and some landscaping with planters, palm trees, tropical plants, beach grasses....

9 years agoYou are beyond lucky; that house is wonderful and I bet the screened porch is perfection. It just needs some paint. You don't have to go wild with colors, traditional trim and muted beach colors will also get you a beachy look.

9 years agolast modified: 9 years agois this going to be a rental? you need to clarify for renters (or guests) where parking is and where its not, or you'll have a hard time getting your yard tidy. you might just define the edge the parking area with rocks for now til you have time to deal with it. otherwise the first two cars will park on the gravel and then the next will park on the lawn.
for the rest, mostly it just looks plain now. choose a color palette and go from there. buy chairs those colors, umbrellas those color, etc. if you always just buy the first thing you see (easy for a vacation home...) you'll have mishmash.
