How do y’all deal with these monsters?

I
planted a slew of different berry bushes a few years ago. This spring I finally got many of them to set
a very nice crop. Now every morning as
each variety matures I find the ripe berries are half eaten or completely
gone. Three seasons of nursing raspberries,
blackberries, goji berries, strawberries, gooseberries, currants,
huckleberries, elderberries, figs, romance cherries, etc, and I haven’t had
more than a handful of ripe fruit. I can
have all the green ones I want, but religiously they day before they peak they
are taken or destroyed by birds. I
suspect a flock of Robins, and they aren’t afraid of anything. They won’t bolt until I’m almost within 10
feet or so.

Is
netting the only answer? I’ve been
reluctant to use it because they are all in my yard’s landscape and the aesthetics
will be ruined. How do y’all deal with these monsters?
