How do I design a window for my plan that I can afford? I am looking at understanding when prices are crazy.. that window type, that trim, color make etc..

I would like white on white with white hardware I think!

I would like to know the styles I should stay away from as much detail as you can tell me! Average cost to one window etc!!

it feels like Marvin or Anderson on east coast yes?

Would like to know what looks cheap but better in marketing... what we should really buy! We can exclude grills but we will go for a cottage dash mulled together pair like a euro style French inswing, but actually double hung.. I want to understand anything I can! Please talk to me.. I am in LOVE with window pins!!!! Amazing ones, beautiful, fancy! And I know it will be the best research and question I could ever put out their for our dream home!

we have a low budget for a white farmhouse but are GC, farmers and live on site with a lot here to support price (septic, elec, drive done) it is $175 and will not be fancy finishes (kids and pets!) we however want the windows to be very nice and stand out inside and out. We are also choosing James Hardies most likely in artic white and might upgrade to artisty.. we can't easily remodel the widows and siding! Everything else we want to feel relaxed with kids and pets. We have 22 acres we farm with lovely views! Planted and orchard and are basically homesteading foodies. We also are investors that homeschool... I can't highlight the importance of how much we love our home life I guess! And I am 36 and really excited to be living this way!

i am in the hot seat right now. We are waiting for quotes from draftsman and I know soon my changes will not be able to be made for cheap! I had an issue when I went looking last time with one window rep and it surprised me (not my first time - first house we installed loewen ourselves in a one story we rebuilt in Hawaii.. not installing ourselves this time!) but that Loewen guy was great. We talked over window styles at his desk and he rattled off prices. I went home and designed the walls with husband that was according to our budget and we got amazing windows! The one window rep that is apart of the trusses made to order place.. is not that awesome. It was a while ago.. we had to change the house site according to a successfully expanding farm.. happy! But I am about to go back.. I don't want to have an abundance of info.. a design that isn't made with all the most expensive window types but the best window line! he kept asking for the full window schedule and then offering me a big number - never per window and when I asked for more simple quotes to try and feel that out- he stopped responding!!!!
