Thanks to both of you. We are also thinking teal door. I actually painted the door a muted aqua to see if I liked it before we get a new door and it's definitely an improvement.

What a cute house! I really like the current trim color. It seems so serene. The white does look nice, too. I would not go any darker than the current color.

I would get a prettier mailbox and doormat. The thing that first jumped out at me is the window treatments. I understand that sometimes blinds are necessary but we have to be aware of how they look from the outside. These look like sheets at the window, and they are different colors. I would at least keep the front windows dresses similarly.

I think a darker colour for the shakes and trim would be better. The colour of your roof or a bit darker. Look at the neighbour on your left compared to the one in the right. The windows on the left neighbour have a lot more depth and really set off the brick colour. The bright white on the right (lol) is stark without adding interest, imo. Use a creamy white for the porch posts.

Thank you for the input. Totally agree about the blinds. That bothers me too and new, matching window treatments are on our July to-do list.

Over a year later and we ended up getting a new blue/green door in a craftsman style, repainting the exterior same color it was, just fresh, replacing the house numbers, new blinds inside and new chairs on the front porch. We love our little house!
