Rug for sure but you also have lots of chrome and glass. That's not so cozy. Maybe mix in some other metals to add interest. Gold or iron?

Post a few more pictures so we can see from the dining into this space. The blue wall & where your TV is placed. Just so we end up seeing each wall, entry into the room etc. Gorgeous

And a rug would take care of your issue. A light colored shag was my first impression but the Pros will come along with good ideas. Is that something you're interested in?

Couple of suggestions..your couch is not centered in front of the window and wondering if you have tried it on the long wall and try your two prints side by side above couch (and if not large enough some large art. Place the single chairs and table & lamp in front of window and move the arched floor lamp to the far side of the couch. I would add a console table where prints were and if you are not comfortable with more art, use a mirror if the prints were moved. Adding a rug, pillows and drapery are great ways to warm up a space. Bring home lots of items and test them out.
