The style and color should be the same. The principal entrance should be significant so there is no confusion as to what the main entrance is. Good luck with your project.

Thanks for the quick comment. It is proving somewhat difficult to match as the main entrance requires a 95" door. Finding a door style that supports both 95" and 84" and is something we like is tricky.

Thanks, Carol. The design supports my in-laws who have an attached bungalow with their own garage, mudroom, etc.

So it is a duplex. Then each door can be kindred, but somewhat independent of the other. A change in cladding materials between the two halves can also help to signal to guests which door is the appropriate one to go to for which resident. It would also greatly improve the authenticity of the home to do the entire main section in stone and the sub section in siding, as would be authentic to a home that was added into over the years. The bad '''feature wallpaper'' of stone in the gable ends only really detracts from the home and tilts it firmly in the McMansion direction.

What if the doors are the same color, but your door has lots of glass and a stunning hanging pendant.

The other door is solid with sconces in the same design as the pendant.

They are related, but not twins.

This idea for your door and then the other door is solid, but the same…am I making sense? I am not as confused as I sound :< )

For this house the doors should match in color and be alike in design, but do not need to be identical.

It would be preferable if the secondary door were more sheltered, or not facing forward.

I imagine you are building a big house on a small lot, but consider that garages should be subordinate, both in size, and location, to the house.

Looking at your elevation, my eye hunts for a focal point. Even with the 2 doors highlighted, I'm still confused.

Consider researching European architecture built over the past 500 years, noticing how materials are used and combined.

I count eleven different roof lines. Please reconsider design before build.

Actually for being a McMansion, it's not that terrible.

All the roofs are at the same pitch, generally there's two styles of windows though there are some issues with height and alignment that should be addressed, but overall attention has been paid to unity and variety. All elements used are at least used repeatedly
