Yes! My kitchen sink has a sprayer faucet... Comes in handy more often than I would have thought. Very helpful with dishes.

Yes, it is more functional and comfortable.

You don't need it, but you'll probably find it very useful.

Like @quercus2 said you don't need it. I surprise myself sometimes by how often I use it. I could get by without it but, I'm glad I have it.

I've had one in one house, in another house - no. Didn't really matter to me.

Lets put it this way, if u think u must have one then chose another faucet. Plenty of faucets in the sea. Lol. :).

use my sprayer all the time: clean dishes and pans, clean out sink, use it to cool down hot food, noodles, rice, etc.

Never use mine... just a matter of personal preference.

I use mine all the time, and I would miss it very much. I'd look for a less expensive faucet if you want a sprayer. I dont think it's worth all that trouble and expense that you have described.

I am sure you can manage without it, as we tend to adapt anyway but I have to say I do find the spray faucet handy too. When I didn't have it. I used a jug to rinse around the sink after it was washed, and had a rinsing bowl for plates. In fact, you would probably save more water without it.

We didn't have one for a long time and I did not miss how much I needed it when we got a new faucet. Its worth it!
