HI -- You could have your sofa on the long wall to the right of the fireplace . You could have the TV on the wall at the left ( where that decor window is ) being across from the sofa . Have a pair of chairs backed to the arched rooms entrance ... they will face the fireplace . To the left of the fireplace have another lounge chair with a standing lamp or a painting and a small side table . Have the TV on a swivel wall bracket so it can adjust for viewing . It is also a good idea to have swivel chairs . I think having the TV on that left wall it will be less obvious . TV's do not need to dominate a room. Having the TV stay where former owner has it could also work for you .

Are you tv people? Many people on Houzz like small tvs, more attractive living spaces, and more conversation areas. In my house, we like bigger tvs, heinous recliners, and less talking during our shows. If you are more like the people in my house, the only wall in that room big enough to hold a proper size tv would be the wall with the floating shelves. If you are more concerned with smaller tvs and more conversation, ignore everything that I have just said.

I like your idea and think it will work; no window glare, sofa does not block entry to room and you an enjoy the fireplace too....I like the CENTER of my TV screen the same height as my eye level for watching comfort.....fyi.
