I love your rug

I like the sectional. :). If you think it's too big, you could go with a similar style just without the side piece. A three seater plus a chaise on the end.

Sofa and chair. If you have a credit at Ashley's, you can use it all on one of their best sofas, then later on get a chair from somewhere else like LazyBoy.

If you like the chaise portion of the sofa, I'd get that configuration with a separate chair. Possibly this. What is wrong with the sectional/rug? It doesn’t look too big and I like the rug (pull it under more, so that strip of hardwood doesn’t show). Can the sofa be moved more to the right? No lovin’ the chair, though. Add a couple of darker pillows into the mix...

The bare floor in the last picture (looking at the back of the sectional…what is that space?

I agree, the sectional looks fine. I would however have the front of the sofa setting on the rug so there isn't bare floor betwee rug and sofa; it will anchor the space. I like the idea of using colorful pillows to add some pop.

That sectional looks fine, not like the big puffy leather reclining ones that appear on many dilemmas on this forum...

The sectional and the chair both look fine. Do you have a large family? Do you entertain frequently and have a need to seat a lot of people? What motivated the purchase? It sounds like it is a new purchase. Yes? Are you painting the wall white or with the color? I LIKE the paint color.

I like the sectional. I would change the chair and rug.

Sometimes we over analyze and lose perception. Beyond the unfinished paint job you have a beautiful space with a great Windows. Sectional and rug look great. Consider how they may look with colorful pillows on sofa.

Unfortunately when we received this set it was damaged & has other issues as well. We tried to return but they will only allow exchanges otherwise we would've looked elsewhere.

The pictures I posted were to reference our space and not necessarily the way we want the room set up. I'd love to get rid of that chair by the TV but that's our dog's chair.

So I drag my husband back to Ashley's tonight and we found three different options - which option would you chose?

As far as the paint color we are in the process or shall I say my husband is painting over the 1990s mustard yellow to amazing gray paint color from Sherwin-Williams that's a work in progress :-)

Is there room for a console table and some lamps?
