Is the trim 'enameled'?

I noticed sometimes you say on other projects that the trim is 'enameled '. I'm having my house painted and am wondering if I should ask my painter to do that to the trim in our sunroom. Would love your thoughts. - I love the fresh look of all your work! Thank you for being so generous with your thoughts and advice to all of us novices.
