I would remove the framed pictures and lower the candle sconces just a little bit. And put candles in the holders. Then stand back and see if that's enough.

Maybe rearrange the pieces you already have

Do you especially like or have some sentimental attachment to the three items up there - the mirror, the sconces, and the matching pictures? If not, I would start with a clean slate. IMO, they are too staid for the cool, retro vibe of the lamps, side tables and other items in the room.

Or, if you love the mirror, I would place it on the left over the sofa and add something to the right 3/4 of the space above the sofa. And lower it as in the photo above.

I would move the mirror and sconces to where the painting is above the chair and put that painting over the couch, over to one side, with the framed pics stacked one above the other next to it. You might be able to use the little round pieces (can't tell what they are) with the paintings over the couch, too.

The easiest thing to do for arranging is to cut out paper or cardboard templates the size and shape of your pieces, then tape them to the walls in possible arrangements until you hit on the perfect one.

I think we need the answer to graywings' question first. If you're set on keeping all four items, they need to be lowered and closer together. If you're open to a clean slate, some framed art that's about 2/3 to 3/4 the width of the sofa would work. It needs to be no more than 6 to 8 inches above the sofa.

Lower the mirror and scounces and take away the framed art.

Thanks for your thoughts! So overall, move down the mirror and sconces. I do prefer the mirror over the couch mainly because I like seeing the painting when you walk in the front door. I'm not too attached to the framed pictures so I could take away or replace them. Do you think leaving only the mirror and sconces on the wall is fine for this being the most wall space? It won't appear too bare?

HI -- Less bigger is better instead of all iddy bittys all in a row and up too high . Find another spot for the mirror and find a nice big square painting or long low rectangle painting . Hang all the smaller items with the others items on that other wall . I love your lamps ... they are great !
