You need to reupholster those couches to a normal color or sell them and use the money toward buying new ones. I would not waste any more money trying to buy a bunch of stuff to decorate around those. Chalk it up and start over. There is nothing that is going to make those okay.

When you search, don't specify blue sofa, use colourful sofa. The concept is the same.

Here is another good example:

Add some leather in a tone that is equal in intensity to the sofa (not black or chocolate, instead tan or cream). Consider a seagrass rug or sisal, and make it large enough for the front legs of all the furniture to go on it. Choose an accent colour (orange, green, yellow would all be good or fuschia). Paint the walls crisp white or clear grey (no greige or blue-grey). Incorporate some natural wood; a living edge coffee table could work as shown here:

I really think you should consider a new furniture arrangement, with the sofa facing the fire if possible.

First, I think the wall color is off (it looks baby blue to me)...are you willing to paint?

It might not end up typically "farmhouse", but that would be more interesting anyway...

The sofa is so bright that I darkened the wall behind it. I'd try to make it look like the blue color is not just an accident. I gave you blue curtains. The rug needs to be larger. I'm not sure there is room for a coffee table. It looks as though it would block access to the blue chair. I'd get small glass and metal side tables. I'd also use other bright colors in the room as accents.

I too would say no way will those couches become country lipstick on a pig is still a pig.

I love your pieces! To integrate into a farmhouse/rustic style I would use white washed or antique English pine case pieces and a sisal look rug for texture. Then some print pillows for accent. Lamps could be an oil rubbed bronze.

so you are the country estate owner! you still live there! and to my knowledge pigs enjoy a bit of lipstick every so often. chickens do too but we will let that go for now. back in a little bit to rescue you.

I would turn the rug so it is lengthwise, then pull sofa away from wall, add two rich brown leather chairs opposite facing couch, with wood coffee table, two side tables either side of couch with matching lamps. I think you could do a bohemian farmhouse look with those couches and have a very special room when you're finished. I would look for a distressed area rug and bring in some burlap in the pillows and lampshades and use linen on the windows. White washed furniture as was suggested above could help incorporate the farmhouse look.
