Is this your house? If it is, what don't you like about the current tile? I'm not a huge fan of tile, especially not in the whole house, but this looks okay to me.

Is there a reason you are using tile?

Tile is really hard and cold, especially for places like living rooms. I'd go hardwood but if it needs to be tile then go for a wood looking tile as long as it doesn't run into any real hardwood flooring.
