Not sure why it wouldn't let me write text but I just painted the house (wish I went darker but to late)

    Body is sw repose grey

    Trim is sw pure white

Top of sides is sw dovetail

What color should I paint the porch post?

What should I paint the front door? Was thinking a blue

The garage door has a small piece of trim around it painted white should I change it to the darker color, dovetail?

Don't paint any trim around your garage differently from what it is right now. Your garage door blends with the house which is perfect. Paint the porch post so it blends with the background color of your house: Repose Gray.

BM Blue Note is a beautiful color. It is dark so it will have the tendency to not pop.

Is that what you want? Most of the time you want your front door color to come out of the shadows to welcome visitors. You can do that with a brighter color door paint and bring in that same brighter color through your plants and flowers leading up to the front door.

I see you posted a lovely yellow door just now....I think that works much better than the blue.

In fact, I think just a little bit of landscaping will work wonders with your newly painted home :)

What yellow do you think works with repose grey and dovetail? We have landscaping plans in the near future :-)

I noticed the door you have selected has a leaded glass type look. Are you planning to make your home more of a cottage look? If so, the door will work, if not, a door without the leaded glass would be a better choice.

What about this light blue? (Mermaid net by berh)

I'm not really going for any look I just like the look of the door. Is that bad lol it's hard picking a style or theme I know we don't want to go the MCM route

Try using the SW ColorSnap visualizer to narrow down the right yellows for your home. Upload the photo of the front of your house and try the yellows/corals/oranges to see what works with your repose gray. Once you have it narrowed down, you will still need to try different samples because it will look different IRL on your front door. Try using large foam core pieces painted with the sample color to see what works before you buy a bunch of paint. This is the fun part :)

Keep in mind your future landscape plans. Personally I think yellow is a great color for your door.
