Appears to be one white for the walls and a brighter white for the wainscoting and trim - but as this clearly illustrates, light and shadow have an enourmous effect on how we perceive color, which is why basing a paint selection on what someone else has in a photo of their room is never a good idea because it will appear completely different in your space

I understand I also have a long thin hallway opening up to a staircase. I wanted something fresh light as it's a dark area. I have young children too which also makes it hard to pick a colour that's contemporary modern and also durable. I am having solid walnut flooring so thought White would be a nice contrast.

I was able to achieve this same look using "lamb" by martha stewart at home depot. I must have tried 12 different paint samples before getting the right one. I used regular white for the baseboard. My home has identical floors etc...

What are the paint colors and also the color of the wood floors. Thanks!
