I know the flooring companies are starting to offer the click floors like Coretec in tile patterns in 2018. Maybe they will be on trend and offer patterns...not sure just yet.

I can't offer vinyl options but I just did an exhaustive look at porcelain. There's a lot available.

Oops. Many Somertile are ceramic - some are porcelain. The other options are porcelain.

@thinkdesignlive I think that vinyl click lock tiles are the perfect candidate for faux encaustic look. I think you’re right that they’ll come out in the coming years. Unfortunately too late for my current kitchen. Old house, wide old joist spacing makes too much deflection for even a porcelain tile floor. I prefer luxury vinyl anyway.

Also, Home Depot has a few 13' wide sheets by a company called IVC that aren't bad, but there is only one review for them and it says the stuff is pretty thin. I’m curious if the IVC Home Depot is selling is of an inferior quality or it’s that line of the patterned vinyl that’s so thin. I have IVC Flexitec sheet vinyl installed in two of my bathrooms and have been pleased with it. It’s thick & not at all like that really thin old stuff that everyone cringes at because they don’t realize how much some of the sheet vinyl offerings & patterns have improved. Hard to say. But, as of today, there are now 2 reviews of the HD IVC which indicate it is of an inferior quality. I suspect there are different lines. Rather unfortunate, as the ones at HD are actually attractive.

I just came across this thread and was wondering if any more options have popped up in the last year? As with most cool tile options, it seems like most of the ones in this thread would have to be imported from the UK, sigh

The Good Tile makes encaustic styled tiles. They are in Canada but I think ship to the US.

I am currently looking for encaustic looking click and lock vinyl and am having a hard time finding anything :( I'd love any current recommendations?

at this point if you really want encaustic look its best to look into porcelain/ceramic since there are more options these days.

Amy-I still recommend checking with thegoodtile.com. I don’t think they’re click & lock but i could be wrong.

You can find some of those designs online at the big box stores and I think build.com had some, but alas they are usually out of stock.

I just want to say, 3 years after this thread was started, as a new homeowner I am not having any luck finding what we’re looking for here: a click-lock LVT/LVP floor that looks like encaustic or similar patterns.

It seems there are plenty of options in other materials such as glue-down LVT, sheet vinyl, peel-and-stick vinyl, etc. but not in the generally-recognized top-choice material for durability, repairability, and value.

In fact, I found a pretty close match a couple months ago by Pergo, but found out today that it's been discontinued! Due to low sales, apparently.

I guess a more traditional tile look is just unpopular, since that seems to be the reason it's not available. Well, if someone finds a source for this in the future, please link it here since this thread still comes up pretty high in Google results! Good luck y'all!
