I would try to paint them the wall color. There are manufacturers that make paintable speaker grills.

Wow! Can't win this one for sure. Just live with it. For future reference, they have wifi speakers now with great sound about the size of a soda can. You can take them anywhere and put them away when not in use if you want. Sweet hubby though. Gotta love 'em.

Sorry, couldn't resist some humor here. Decorate those eyes up! Get eyelashes and turn them into art! lol Forgive me but I just had this vision of those speakers as "eyes"!

Seriously, you can also get "speaker fabric" that might help by doing a long panel over the whole closet area that would disguise the two circles in a somewhat more decorative manner. Google "speaker fabric". I'll see what I can find too.

What my idea is, have hubby create a "frame" over the entire top of the closets and then "upholster" it in the speaker fabric of your choice. It comes in a lot of different colors and textures so maybe you could find one that compliments your room.

Just remove the metal mesh cover (they are just held in with friction, I usually use a paper clip as a hook) then paint the plastic trim ring the wall color, will take two coats. Then re install the mesh covers. It will blend fine.

They’re not bad , easily remedied. Much better than the “surprise “ our teenage son did for us. We came home from being away all day, he surprised us by painting our front door the most ungodly shade of blue, he thought since we live at the beach it would look good. Being a good sport I just lived with it for a year or two , then had it repainted. I figured there are more important things to worry about :)
